Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 March 2026

TL;DR - Pixel Sphere crafts software that respects you. We collect minimal, aggregated data only to improve our services - never personal details, never for advertising, never shared or sold. Your data stays your business.

1. Overview

Pixel Sphere ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our apps, website, and services, how we use it, and what rights you have.

We operate on a privacy-by-default principle: we only collect what is strictly necessary to keep our products working correctly and improving over time. We do not build behavioural profiles, serve ads, or sell data - ever.

2. What We Collect

Across all Pixel Sphere products, we aim to collect the absolute minimum required. Here is an overview of what may be collected:

Data type Example Volume
Aggregated usage analytics Screen views, feature usage counts, session duration Minimal
Crash & error reports Stack traces, device OS version, app version Minimal
Device information OS platform, app version (for compatibility) Minimal

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, payment information, or any personally identifiable information unless you explicitly provide it (e.g., when contacting support).

3. Analytics & Crash Reporting

To understand how our apps are performing and where to improve them, we use a small set of industry-standard, privacy-conscious tools. All data processed through these services is aggregated and anonymised - it cannot be traced back to an individual user.

  • Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics) - measures aggregated usage patterns such as which features are used most, general session length, and screen navigation flows. No personal identifiers are collected. IP addresses are anonymised. Data is used solely for product improvement.
  • Firebase Crashlytics - automatically captures crash reports and non-fatal error logs to help us identify and fix bugs quickly. Reports include stack traces, device OS version, and app version. No personal content from your device is ever included.
  • Bit Tracker / In-app analytics - where applicable, lightweight in-app event tracking is used to measure specific feature adoption to guide development priorities. Events are anonymous counters only (e.g., "feature X was used N times").
Important: All analytics are configured with the strictest privacy settings available. We disable advertising IDs, user-level tracking, and cross-app data sharing across all tools we use.

4. How We Use Data

The limited data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Identifying and fixing crashes, bugs, and performance issues
  • Understanding which features are most useful so we can prioritise development
  • Ensuring compatibility across different devices and OS versions
  • Measuring overall app health and stability

We do not use any collected data for advertising targeting, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating and improving our products.

5. What We Don't Do

We believe being explicit about what we don't do is as important as explaining what we do.

  • We never sell your data to any third party
  • We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers
  • We never build personal profiles or behavioural dossiers
  • We never track you across other apps or websites
  • We never read your messages, files, contacts, or personal content
  • We never use dark patterns to extract consent

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each selected for their privacy standards. Where possible, we configure them with the most restrictive privacy settings available.

  • Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) - subject to Google's Privacy Policy. All data is anonymised before transmission.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store - standard distribution platforms. Their own privacy policies apply to purchases and downloads.
  • GitHub - used to host open-source repositories. Code contributions and issue reports are public.

Beyond the services listed above, we do not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or data collection services.

7. Data Retention

Aggregated analytics and crash reports are retained for a rolling 13-month window by Google Firebase, after which they are automatically deleted. We do not retain any raw event logs beyond what is surfaced through the aggregated dashboard views.

If you contact us by email, your messages are retained only for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry, and deleted thereafter.

8. Your Rights

Because we collect no personally identifiable information by default, there is generally no personal data profile for us to provide or delete. However, you have the following rights:

  • Opt out of analytics - on supported platforms, you can disable analytics collection in the app settings or via your device's privacy controls (e.g., iOS "Allow Apps to Request to Track", Android advertising ID settings).
  • Request information - you may contact us to ask what data, if any, is associated with you.
  • Deletion - if you have contacted us and wish to have your email correspondence deleted, simply ask and we will do so promptly.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@pixelsphere.app.

9. Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through one of our apps, please contact us at hello@pixelsphere.app and we will address it promptly.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. For significant changes, we will provide a notice within the relevant app or on our website.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our products after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
